Well four meetings in, 4 engine problems, all to expensive for this boy. As any of you who have owned a racecar, its all that hidden stuff that kills your wallet! But in this case it was the hidden and the obvious, if you race an engine that should have been fully rebuilt and have not, it will cost big and a seized piston put a stop to everything.
A decision had to be made, the money pouring into these things is always a part of it, but the time is the one hard to swallow....and yes thats racing.
So the car was split up and sold as parts, the chassis is still for sale at present.
I still have my gear, and the stockcar is about to get some much needed attention, hopefully it will be out for the last part of the season, but again the $ is an issue and racing takes 2nd to my family at the moment.
We will see what the future holds :)

Well 2nd meeting in and we have had a real bad start to the season, but hey gotta keep the chin up, can only get better. After finding the MSD and distributor had failed at opening night I spent the week going through 3 different dizzys to get the car fired back up. The car is finished, we arrived at the 2nd practice only to have the weather god turn it to custard, but we did manage to complete greensheeting which was good, this allows us to concentrate on the start of the season. The car has had major surgery, a new front end, cage, dash, suspension, tank and battery box, body bonnet and wing and paint scheme. Heres hoping we get some reliability with it and get a good season in. The thought of running Nelsons opening was high on the agender but with...
